Hopefully you had a good summer. Once again, the retirees annual picnic was successful and very well attended. This is our biggest turnout yet.

We shared memories, stories and had a delicious meal. A big thank you and appreciation to our Sponsors, E -Board and volunteers for all your hard work, especially our “Grill Team” and our volunteers that helped prepare the food.

Don’t forget to turn in your ballots for the UAW Executive Board. If you have not received a ballot, please call 855-433-8683. This is an independent company that is processing the election.

Also, the Euchre Tournament is at our hall on Friday, October 2, sign in starts at 9am, playing starts at 10:00 am and lunch will be provided at noon at no charge.

There is a lot this year compromising the working class and our livelihood, especially for retirees. Take this upcoming Mid Term election, on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, like your life depends on it because it does.

You can also take advantage of early voting and an absentee ballot. Please do your homework and consider the UAW endorsed candidates because they have been screened by our leadership and they have our best interest in mind.

We are in the COVID/Flu season so be mindful that are body’s immune system may not be as strong and might take us longer to recover.

Our next gathering will be Bingo at 6pm, Monday, October 5, 2026 and our next luncheon will be Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at noon. We hope to your smiling faces then.

Please be kind to each other because we never know when is the last time we see each other. Love, peace and Justice

In Solidarity,

Marta
