Greetings Sister and Brother, I hope you are well in company of your love ones , well  the heat just got here and we need to stay hydrated and don’t over do working outdoors remember we are not getting any younger lol.

We had a very good group that attended the retirees workers conference at Black Lake this year and was very informative and motivated, let’s hope that they stay involved .

The Lansing election primary is August 5 ,2025, please go vote because your local city council , mayoral and all other boards are essential to our future. I know that this days our politics are ugly and many families are divided including mine, I urge you to get educated and lookup how our elected officials are voting in the issues that affect us, is public information.

We will not be meeting in July for any activities or events. The UAW Local 602 Annual Retirees and spouse picnic will be at Francis park and will take place this year Wednesday, August from 3:00am. – 7:00pm. If you are planning on attending please call the union hall at 517/372-4626 for head count by Wednesday, August 13, 2025 so we make sure we have enough food and drinks.
