The Region 1-D Women's Council and Lansing-area locals held their annual back-to-school backpack giveaway on August 4. The event was bigger and better than ever, with many vendors and a bouncy house. As you can see in the picture, many school supplies are included in addition to the backpacks. These are provided at no cost to local families who need them, with a voucher system before the event.
