The UAW Region 1-C CAP Conference was held at the MSU Kellogg Center October 16-17. Many labor unionists from the region attended, as did a number of politicians and candidates. U.S. Representative Dale Kildee (D-5th District), who is retiring after this term, received a special award for his many, many years of service to working people.
