The annual "Work or Shirk" at the Mystic Lake YMCA Camp is coming up May 17-19. Room and board are provided in exchange for helping get camp prepared for opening later in June.

The Mystic Lake Camp and organized labor have a partnership that goes back decades. The Union Camp Committee (UCC) solicits funds to send deserving kids to camp that have a union affiliation.  Last year we raised over $15,000 and sent close to 60 kids to camp.

The Mystic Lake Camp is a branch of the YMCA of Lansing, located on 600 acres of private land near Lake, Michigan. The setting includes a private 90-acre lake and a variety of terrain, vegetation and animal life conducive to contemplation, recreation, and education.
